US Health Care Nightmares

Treated for Illness, Then Lost in Labyrinth of Bills - New York Times

Norwegians–read this and be ever thankful for the sanity that is your social welfare state. Reading this article reminded me to go and reorder some freaking travel insurance.

I cut my hair!

My new haircut

It’s a big deal because I haven’t done anything serious to it (well, other than the dark red dye jobs) in about 13 years. It’s still long, but the hairdresser cut some layers into it. I also got my brows and lashes dyed, but wasn’t too impressed with the job that the girl did. I think I’ll be doing that on my own from now on, like I used to when I had dark hair.

I think I look damn good. :)
